These terms are the agreement between you and aaraa labs for using the Better Word app. In short: use the app to learn, keep your account to yourself, subscriptions are billed and cancelled through Apple or Google, and you can delete your account at any time.
By downloading or using Better Word, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Better Word is for general audiences learning English vocabulary. You must be at least 13 years old to use it. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian's permission, including for any purchase.
The words, situations, images, videos, explanations, example sentences, audio and design in Better Word are owned by aaraa labs or used under licence. Some images and media are created with the help of AI tools. We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use this content inside the app for your own learning.
Please don't copy, resell, redistribute or scrape the app's content, or use it to build a competing product.

We work hard to make every word, explanation and pronunciation accurate and useful, but language is nuanced and mistakes can happen. Better Word is a learning aid: it isn't a certified course or qualification, and we don't guarantee any particular learning result. If you spot something wrong, please tell us using the contact details below.
We're always improving Better Word, so features and content may change, be added or be removed. We aim to keep the app running smoothly, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or because of issues with services we depend on.
You can stop using Better Word and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we do, any active subscription should be cancelled through Apple or Google.
Better Word is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, aaraa labs isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Better Word in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.
These terms are between you and aaraa labs only, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, and have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If you downloaded Better Word from the App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the stores is also governed by Apple's and Google's own terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of India, unless the consumer laws of the country where you live give you the right to bring a claim there.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Better Word after a change means you accept the updated terms.
